Cold Brew recipes

Cold Brewing is a tasty infusion method and great way to enjoy your favourite tea.

Any tea or herbal is suitable for a cold brew. You can even enjoy your favourites with simple twists to enhance the flavour of your brew and create stunning tea mocktails.

Lemongrass and Ginger Spritz

You will need                                                        

  • 3 tsp Lemongrass and Ginger Tea
  • 500ml Sparkling water
  • Slices of fresh lemon
  • Mint leaves (optional)
  • Extra 1/2 for squeezing
  • Teapot with strainer

Method

  1. Add your tea to the strainer in the teapot
  2. Pour the water over the top
  3. Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the mix 
  4. Refridgerate for at least 3 hours to infuse the flavours
  5. Serve in glasses over ice with fresh slices of lemon and mint for garnish

 

Honey Lemon Iced Black 

You will need

  • 2 tsp Nilgiri black leaf
  • 500ml room temp water
  • Teaspoon organic honey dissolved in small amount of hot water
  • 2 lemon slices
  • Teapot

Method

  1. Add your tea to the strainer
  2. Combine your two waters together and add them to your pot.
  3. Refridgerate for a minimum of 3 hours
  4. Serve with fresh lemon slices over ice

Ruby Tuesday

You will need

  • 2 tsp Ruby Tuesday tea
  • 500ml room temp water
  • Fresh berries for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Add your Ruby Tuesday to the strainer
  2. Add water for infusing
  3. Refridgerate overnight
  4. Serve over ice with berries for garnish
